Contact your MP

Speak out against the growing citizenship backlog and RQ processing delays by meeting with or writing to your MP.

The Canadian Centre for Refugees offers good advice on how to prepare, conduct and follow up on a meeting with your MP.

Meeting with your MP

For sending letters, physical letters sent by post are preferable to electronic, but anything is better than nothing. No postage is required for letters to the MPs Ottawa address as long as the letters MP are on the envelope.

Be sure to proof read and spell check. Spelling and grammar mistakes make it easier for officials to not take your issue seriously.
