RQ Avoidance

To increase your chances of not receiving an RQ:
1. Double check all your travel dates outside of Canada on your citizenship application. Look out for delayed flights which might indicate that you returned a day later than your reservations indicate. Double, triple check against any passport stamps.
2. Do not apply with less than the requisite 1095 days. If possible, bank extra days so you have a “cushion” of days in Canada. You want your application to look like a “slam dunk” to the Citizenship official. If it’s questionable, they will likely send you an RQ.
3. Check RQ risk indicators.
